When the opportunity to work at one of the leading and most innovative names in tech comes up, you certainly don't let it slip by!
It's no wonder, then, why I seized the chance with both hands when it recently came calling. In my new role as Business Development Manager at Redstack, I can already see so much potential for further growth and expansion and I am certainly relishing the challenge ahead.
Among the many reasons I decided to jump on board at Redstack, there were two key factors:
Firstly, of course, the technology the firm offers - already a leading force in the software world, I firmly believe Autodesk is in a very strong position to be the cornerstone for a number of vital technologies in many sectors.
Secondly, there's the cultural fit. As an organisation that has built its business around using its solutions to assist customers to grow their profitability, Redstack shares many of my core values. The fit was therefore logical.
That said, I didn't come here expecting an easy ride, and there is a lot of work that needs to be done. My main objective in my role at Redstack is to further grow the company's presence across a number of sectors in the key NSW market. I've also been tasked with growing the local team here in NSW.
I'm keen to use the experience I have built up in previous business development roles across a number of industries in order to meet these goals. Over the years, I've been able to gain an understanding of the most common bottlenecks in these sectors, their impact on organisations - and how to assist companies to resolve them.
With Redstack already commanding a strong presence in NSW, we are looking to build on and replicate our existing success in Victoria and South Australia to further strengthen our ability to service NSW clients.
While competition is strong in NSW, we have a range of competitive advantages and unique offerings that will enable us to deliver superior solutions to the NSW market. We definitely offer something unique and different from our competitors, and in addition to growing our physical presence in this state, we'll stand out by educating the market about the capabilities of Autodesk and help customers unlock ROI in these products.
All in all, Redstack is working with the overarching vision of becoming the smart partner for industry leaders in Australia. Whether it is utilising UAV technology to capture design data or deploying the latest 3D printers to assist with prototyping, Redstack is committed to working closely with Australian organisations.
I can't wait to see NSW businesses grow as we partner with them today and in years to come.
